Accessibility

Our aim

We built this website with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) level AA in mind, and we keep improving it.

The website has not yet been assessed by an independent body, so some parts may still fall short.

What the website provides

These features are built into every page:

• Every link, button and form works with a keyboard, and the active element has a visible outline.
• Each page starts with a “Skip to main content” link, so you can pass the top menu.
• Each page has one main heading and ordered headings, which makes it easier to browse with a screen reader.
• Meaningful photographs have a text description, and decorative ones are hidden from screen readers.
• The website is available in light and dark themes, and your choice is remembered.
• Pages work on phones, tablets and computers, and with browser zoom.
• If “reduce motion” is turned on in your device, animations are switched off.
• The website is offered in Persian (right to left) and English (left to right).
• Form errors are shown as text, next to their field and in a summary above the form.

Known limitations

We know about these and are working to improve them:

• The head office map on the contact page comes from Google Maps and may not work fully with a screen reader. The office address is given as text on the same page.
• PDF files prepared by visitors or by other organisations may not be suitable for screen readers.
• Websites we link to, such as licensing authorities, are outside our control.

Assistance when you travel

If you need a wheelchair, an escort at the airport or other help on your trip, contact us before your flight so it can be arranged. Details are in the travel rules and passenger rights sections.

Reporting a problem

If a part of the website did not work for you, tell us which page it was and which device and browser you were using. That helps us fix it sooner.
